Climatic furniture at Saint-Denis

Research into innovative solutions to reduce urban heat islands.

The aim of the assignment was to design and build a furniture system that would limit the effects of the urban heat island and promote local thermal comfort for visitors. The collaborative work between our different areas of expertise in design, architecture, urban planning and engineering was a real asset in the response provided by AREP.
